This week’s episode features Katharine Wooller the Business Unit Director at Coincover, a market leader in protecting cryptocurrency from hackers and human error, providing services like key retrieval and re-access to crypto assets, which has led to a partnership with hard wallet storage solution provider Ledger. Matt and Katharine talk about what Coincover does, as well as how it can play a key role in ongoing US litigation Ferguson v. Coinbase as an expert- rebutting Coinbase’s allegations on control of assets. They also look at Coincover’s response to the treasury’s “future financial services regulatory regime for crypto assets”, as well at thoughts on the Digital Pound and CBDC’s generally, contributions to Crypto UK and Katharine’s recent feature in Forbes considering the rising value of crypto assets despite a tough period for the industry.
